Dr. Ellie Mahmoodi
Dr. Ellie Mahmoodi believes that a beautiful, healthy smile can change a person’s life. Each year she devotes a significant portion of her time to attending numerous Continuing Education and training courses, in order to provide you with advanced, state-of-the-art dentistry. A dental practitioner since 1998, Dr. Ellie earned her dental degree from the University of Minnesota. She is one of a handful of practicing dentists in the Twin Cities who have completed levels I & II of the world-renowned post graduate program in esthetic dentistry at the University of Minnesota. She is a member of the American Dental Association, Minnesota Dental Association, Saint Paul Dental Society, and the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentists. Dr. Ellie knows that going to the dentist can be very stressful and traumatic for some people. She believes that when your body is less stressed it will heal itself better. She has designed Serenity Dental to reduce as much stress as possible, by providing you with some spa-like amenities.
Dr. Whitney Schaff
Dr. Whitney Schaff, a Minnesota native, grew up in Cambridge. She pursued her education at Gustavus Adolphus College, where she excelled both academically, majoring in Biology, and athletically, as a member of the Women’s Ice Hockey team. Graduating with a Bachelor of Arts in Biology and a minor in Studio Art, she ventured to California to attend the Herman Ostrow School of Dentistry at USC, earning her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree.
Dr. Schaff is committed to delivering exceptional dental care with a focus on personalized attention and patient comfort. Her approach involves a comprehensive understanding of each
patients’ dental needs, combined with a patient-centered environment. Dr. Schaff continuously strives to enhance her skills and knowledge through ongoing education and the integration of the latest dental technologies. Dr. Schaff warmly welcomes the chance to care for her patients and their families, nurturing authentic relationships while emphasizing the importance of oral health.
In her free time, Dr. Schaff enjoys simple pleasures—spending time with her husband Matthew and family, running, enjoying hockey, baking, crafting, and cherishing moments with her dogs, Buddy and Lola. These hobbies bring balance to her life and complement her dedication to her profession.
